This fortnight’s sustainability vacancies include roles at OpenAI, ArcelorMittal, Nestlé, Meta and Microsoft. 

US artificial intelligence firm OpenAI is recruiting an environmental management specialist focused on supply chains. The hybrid role is based in San Francisco and will pay up to $460k.

ArcelorMittal is looking for an environmental specialist to join its London office and lead the European steelmaker’s biodiversity assessments. 

Nestlé is seeking a regenerative agriculture specialist with expertise on cereals and grains. The successful candidate will join its Panama-based team to develop and lead its Regen Ag 2030 strategy.  

Microsoft is hiring a programme manager for its carbon strategy, to coordinate the its carbon reduction efforts. The role is based in Washington.

Software firm Atlassian is looking for a director of sustainable governance to help prepare the company for incoming reporting requirements in the EU and elsewhere. The role, which is open to candidates in the US and Australia, pays between $163k and $178k. 

US dairy drink firm Fairlife is hiring a vice-president of public affairs, communications and sustainability to help drive its sustainability agenda. The Illinois-based role offers a salary of $230k-$265k. 

Coca Cola is recruiting a director of sustainability for its Turkey business, based out of Istanbul.  

Meta is hiring a net-zero programme manager to build and manage its emissions reduction programme processes and tools. The California-based role pays $152k-$221k. 

Henkel is looking for a global head of circularity to join its Düsseldorf office and advise the chief sustainability officer on all matters related to the circular economy. The German consumer goods giant is also seeking a senior expert to help shape its approach to the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.  

The London Stock Exchange Group is recruiting a senior sustainability manager to support its human rights preparations for the EU’s incoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. 

Indian tech giant HCLTech is hiring a project specialist focused on sustainability reporting to join its US team in Pennsylvania. The role pays between $84k and $128k.   

The Science Based Targets initiative is looking for an impact analyst to help it quantify and communicate its achievements. The role is open to applications across Mexico City, Berlin and London.
