This month’s vacancies include Scope 3 roles at General Motors, Meta and Aldi. 

General Motors is hiring a decarbonisation lead for its value-chain emissions. The role, based in Michigan, will involve building a Scope 3 accounting system as the basis for an “actionable strategy through pricing, partnership, and strategic initiatives”.  

Meta is also seeking a Scope 3 specialist to fill a vacancy for a net zero programme manager. The successful candidate will help it “define and build out” its value chain emissions data and tools. The position is remote and pays between $152k to $221k.  

Supermarket chain Aldi wants a climate manager to support the launch of technological solutions for Scope 3 reporting, carbon footprinting for it products and impact measurement. The Austria-based role pays €104k.  

The OECD Working Party on Responsible Business Conduct is seeking a new chair, to take the helm next Janaury. The group is made up of representatives from 52 governments adhering to the OECD’s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. The new chair will work closely with delegates and other stakeholders to promote due diligence and public policymaking that supports responsible business.

Lego is recruiting a senior director and head of sustainable operations, to support its carbon neutral ambitions. The role is based at Lego’s headquarters in Denmark.    

The UN’s food and agriculture arm is looking for a climate specialist to analyse countries’ nationally determined contributions (NDCs) on adaptation, mitigation and transparency.  The fixed-term role is based in Rome, Italy. 

Online retailer Wayfair is recruiting a Boston-based head of sustainability to develop its global sustainability efforts.  

The London Stock Exchange Group is hiring a senior climate manager to join its group sustainability team, which sits within its corporate affairs and marketing arm. The role involves helping LSEG develop and execute its climate transition plan, and expanding its efforts on nature. 

Clothing giant Levis is hiring a circular economy specialist for an India-based role. The successful candidate will report to the firm’s sustainable sourcing lead.  

Verisk Maplecroft is replacing its director of human rights, following the departure of James Sinclair. The corporate and investor consultancy is recruiting for the position as part of its sustainable procurement and human rights team. 

Swedish outdoor equipment specialist Thule is looking for a sustainability director to join its Malmö-based team. 

Energy drink company Red Bull is recruiting a sustainability manager to support its net-zero goals, based in Warsaw.  

British tea brand Twinings is hiring a global director of social impact and sustainability. 

National Grid is looking for US environmental sustainability director to support the UK-based energy firm’s efforts in the States. The role pays between $190k-$240k depending on location.
