Last day to nominate your CSRD reports (and more judges announced!)

Today is the last day of nominations for the Real Economy Progress CSRD Awards 2025.

Thank you to all the companies, consultants, lawyers, advisors, data providers and NGOs that have taken the time to highlight examples of good practice in Wave One sustainability statements.

We are delighted to announce three more fantastic judges for the awards:

Richard Howitt, a former MEP and CEO of the International Integrated Reporting Council.

Richard was an architect of the EU’s Non-Financial Reporting Directive, and is now a senior associate at Frank Bold.

Luke Sussams, head of ESG and sustainable finance strategy for EMEA at Jefferies.

Luke has spent more than a decade dedicated to analysing companies’ transition and climate risks, first as a researcher at Carbon Tracker and then for investment banks.

Cate Lamb, the former head of water at CDP and current freshwater strategy specialist at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative.

Cate was co-chair of the Science Based Targets Network’s council, and is co-director of the Blue Bonds Accelerator and CEO of water advisory firm CascadeX.

We are delighted to have them on board as judges for the awards.

They will join the three experts already announced:

Heidi Hautala, former vice-president of the European Parliament, board member for the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, and special advisor to the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights.

John Morrison, CEO of the Institute for Human Rights and Business and commissioner for the Mining 2030 Commission

James Corah, head of sustainability and a member of the executive committee at CCLA, a UK-based investment house that serves charities and local authorities.

A huge thank you to all the judges for committing their time to helping us find best practice in CSRD reports this year.

We will be announcing more soon.

In the meantime, please make your nominations to the awards here.
