The California-based role pays $101,000 – $139,000.

Equinix is recruiting a sustainability manager for carbon and climate risk. The US-based role will involve developing and communicating the data-centre firm’s climate transition plan, and making sure it’s aligned with investor expectations and broader sustainability goals. Candidates are required to have a strong grasp of greenhouse gas accounting practices and the decarbonisation levers available to the ICT sector. The salary will be between $119,000 and $196,000.

NASDAQ-listed IT consultancy Cognizant is hiring five sustainability specialists across the US, UK and India. It wants a sustainability consultant for its London office, three advisors for its offices in New York, New Jersey and Illinois, and an ESG controller based in Chennai. The latter role will focus on governance and social themes.

Gates, a manufacturer of automotive parts, is looking for a sustainability manager for its American operations. The newly-created role, based in Denver, will report into the company’s director of sustainability and pay between $90,000 and $110,000 per year.

GE Healthcare is recruiting a sustainability controller to oversee its public and regulatory disclosures. Pay for the US-based remote role will be between $143,616 and $215,424 per year.

KPMG India is looking to hire an assistant manager for its climate change advisory. The hybrid role will be based at the firm’s Mumbai office.

The State of Carbon Dioxide Removal, the university-backed body dedicated to scaling responsible carbon removals, is seeking researchers and a data lead. Both fixed-term roles are based at the University of Oxford.
