This month’s ESG job opportunities include vacancies at Paramount, Amazon and ERM

Environmental consulting firm ERM is recruiting a managing consultant for its London-based sustainability strategy and disclosures team.  The job will involve running a team of between one and three consultants, with a focus on the mining sector.

Sustainability consultancy Anthesis is recruiting a director for its regulatory advisory arm. The position will involve running a team of staff who work with multinational companies to help them understand and comply with ESG regulation. It’s fully remote and the salary range is $145,000-$180,000.  

Paramount is seeking a freelance ESG director, paid $68- $75 per hour to cover parental leave. The full-time, temporary role will run between November 2024 and June 2025, and will require at least one day in the media giant’s New York office.

Amazon is advertising for a programme manager for its social, economic and environmental impact team. The successful candidate will focus on the firm’s procurement activities and ESG in its supply chain. Base pay ranges from $77,200 to $141,500, depending on location.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an ESG Governance and Reporting manager to help it prepare for regulatory disclosure regimes. The role will include making sure reporting is robust, managing the annual audit, and training other teams. The salary is $98,000-$225,500 and the job will require 2 or 3 days from a company office.

Red Bull is looking for a graduate to support the roll-out of its UK sustainability strategy. The 18-month role – part of the energy drink-maker’s graduate programme – starts in July and will require the successful candidate to do lots of data collection and analysis, as well as research on sustainability trends and best practice.

The Aspen Institute is hiring an assistant director for its annual ESG summit. The non-profit holds the event each summer in Colorado for business leaders, investors, regulators and others with an interest in sustainability and corporate governance. The candidate will run a team in New York, doing fundraising, event production, communication, and agenda setting for the event. The salary will be between $140,000 and $150,000.

Tech platform TravelPerk is on the hunt for a sustainability programme manager to run its corporate sustainability initiatives, including its offsetting product for “carbon-neutral” business travel. The role reports to the firm’s product management director

Real estate investment trust Welltower is seeking an ESG Manager to lead its strategic sustainability, including reporting and programme development. The successful candidate will have to identify “ESG deficiencies” at the Ohio-based listed company and improve them.

Payment processing firm Worldpay wants an ESG analyst to assess its sustainability and social responsibility efforts, and provide internal and external reports.

Medline is seeking an ESG Controller to lead its regulatory reporting requirements. The newly-created position will oversee reporting, assurance and auditing of the medical supplies company’s ESG reports.
